The Road to the 'Cue: Announcing the Semi-Finals!

You've honed your recipes and mastered your smokers, and now it's time to show us what you've got! The Community 'Cue BBQ is excited to announce the official Semi-Finals for this year's competition. This is your chance to earn a coveted spot in the finals and be paired with one of Northern Colorado's top pitmasters.
Here's what you need to know to compete:
  • Declare Your Intent: All aspiring semi-finalists must complete the Intent to Participate Form to secure a spot.
  • Bring Your Best: Prepare 2 lbs of meat using your favorite, most impressive recipe to be portioned into up to 8 samples for our professional judging panel.
  • Food Safety First: All entries must be held at proper food-safe temperatures (between 140°F and 165°F, depending on the protein) upon arrival.
  • Tell Your Story: Be ready to present your dish to the judges. You'll need to share details about your creation, your experience with BBQ, and what makes your recipe unique.
 
The semi-final judging will be conducted by the very same professional pitmasters you'll be competing teamed up with in the main event...if you make the cut.
Winners will be announced the following week via our social media channels and direct email. At that time, we will also reveal which pro team each advancing contestant will be paired with for the final Community 'Cue BBQ competition on October 4th.
